The Property
This rustic, romantic property is perfect for couples looking for a blissful break away from everyday life, or bring your little one as the dressing room can accommodate a travel cot, which can be supplied. From the cottage, you're free to explore the often hidden lanes of Newlyn with their cottages, colourful yards and alleyways, getting a little bit lost is part of the fun.
With plenty of Cornish cottage charm, Kara Cottage is well placed for exploring, The Duke Street Cafe is great for breakfast if you're not in the mood to cook and you're just steps away from great pubs (do try the Crab Soup at the Red Lion), the very popular Tolcarne Inn and Mackerel Sky. Spread your wings to the rest of the Peninsula. Lands End is roughly 20 mins by car, so the beaches at Sennen and Porthcurno are easily accessible and Mousehole and Lamorna are also just a short drive away. The coast path leading to Penzance makes for a lovely evening walk (but isn't too challenging). The area has an array of ancient monuments, cosy cafes and stunning views, so take your time to explore. Kara Cottage is only moments from a gym and West Cornwall Inner Space which is a yoga and meditation centre. For a great way to see the local area, the cottage is on the route for the open top bus (running May to September) that will take you in a circle that includes Lands End and St Ives, making exploration incredibly easy by bus too.
